Coach Brooks's Comments:
"Trent was masterful on the mound. He came out and just did a great job on being in control and coming out and attacking. Offensively, I thought we did a great job up and down the order, including the guys that came off the bench and just strung together quality bats just one after another which is difficult on the opposing pitcher. We did a great job today and we will try to come back and get the first one tomorrow."
Key Players:
- Alongside Bramlett, Elvir went 2-for-3 from the plate and scored two runs and recorded two RBI. Seginowich was right behind Elvir with two RBI and 1-for-2 from the batter's box.
- Hardy and Williams both stepped up and went 2-for-2 from the box and scored three runs each.
- Five other players contributed to the offense with one RBI.
- On the mound, Baker had a no-hitter in five innings of work and threw seven strikeouts.
