- Both teams battled in the first half and ASU came out with a 7-3 edge on shots over the Hilltoppers.

- In the first OT, both teams struggled to end the game, as it stayed tied 0-0 to go into a second OT.

Coach McCorkle's Thoughts:
"It was hot and humid. So much so, we had to have 'hydration breaks' in the middle of each half. I've never had this happen before. I'm happy for the girls that we got a win against a really good team. We still need to work on our passing in the attacking third. I thought we could have generated the game winner earlier in the match. Credit to St. Edward's goalkeeper. I don't know her but I'll remember that performance today. Having said that, I think Kira and our defense put in a solid performance as well. Other than the win and another shut out… I told our bench they were a big factor today. They came in and played well and even if they didn't get in, they were there 100% in support of their teammates and the team."
Key Players:
- McNeme led the offense with five shots, three landing on goal, and notched one assist.
- Hampton scored the lone goal for the Belles with a header.
- Trenadey Scott tallied seven shots with four on goal, while five others contributed with at least one shot.
- Kira Miller played in all 107 minutes of action, grabbing three saves.
