Mission Statement
The mission of this strength & conditioning program is to provide a well-designed, collaborative training program that is based on sound physiological and scientific principles by means of a systematic plan that is sport specific, safe and productive, and helps maximize the athletic potential of the student athlete by prescribing stress over a period of time that forces the athlete’s body to respond to a given stimulus, thus resulting in a positive adaptation. Our goal is to provide each student athlete with the best hands on strength and conditioning program in the country with a commitment to the principles of ethical conduct, integrity, and excellence.

Vision Statement
           The vision of this strength and conditioning program is to follow the guidelines set out by the National Strength and Conditioning Association and the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association. This strength and conditioning program aspires to promote strength, speed, power, and discipline that are capable of putting these qualities into play in the area of competition. It is our strength and conditioning program’s desire to become one of the leading strength and conditioning programs in the country by continuously challenging our athletes to bring an attitude of hard work, accountability, and full effort to each workout so that the athlete can reach their full athletic potential both physically and mentally.
Objectives
- Decrease risk of injury
- Strengthen areas more susceptible to injuries through pre-habilitation and strength development of surrounding musculature
- Increase tensile strength of ligaments, tendons, and bones through proper force absorption techniques including plyometrics and Olympic lifts
- Increase force application and change of direction
- Closed kinetic chain strength development
- Multi-joint strength and power developing exercises including plyometrics, Olympic lifts and their variations, and multi planar exercises to increase unilateral and bilateral strength as well as maximizing the effectiveness of the stretch-shortening cycle
- Increase acceleration and decrease change of direction time through multi-directional speed and agility training
- Increase physical and mental toughness through adverse training situations
- Develop discipline, leadership, and mental toughness through the use of confidence, motivation, and attentional focus techniques while training
- Increase the effectiveness of athletic development through a humanistic approach
- Building rapport and understanding athletes as not just athletes but as human beings is crucial in helping the athletes reach their full potential
- Good relationships between the coach and athlete lead to great production in the athlete’s development which in turn will lead to peak performance
