The Orediggers came out the halftime break still pressuring the Belles backline, as Reese McDermott hit one from just inside the box to give mines a 2-0 advantage in the 48th minute.

The Belles next matchup is on the road with MSU Denver, kickoff set for 7 p.m. (CST) on Saturday, Sept. 9th. MSU Denver is Currently 0-1-2 on the season and is coming off a 4-0 defeat after falling to Dallas Baptist at home.

From Head Coach Travis McCorkle: "It is not the performance that we were wanting, or one that we expect to continue. There are things that need to be shored up by our next game against MSU Denver. I expect a response on Saturday."
