Rambelles Extend Win Streak to 11 With a 7-0 Sweep Over UAFS

San Angelo, Texas - The Angelo State women's tennis teams move to 3-0 in Lone Star Conference play with the 7-0 sweep over UAFS.
 
The Belles move to 13-1 and 3-0 in conference action.
 
Mieke Van Deventer and Alexandra Vishnevskaya got things going for the Rambelles. They defeated Isabella Serrano and Antonietta Bocahe 6-1 at No.3 doubles, moving to 6-0 in doubles play. 
 
Letizia Corsini and Ayda Guler would clinch the doubles point for the Rambelles as they would get the best of Taylor Conway and Camila Romero 6-1, as they moved to 13-0 as a pairing. 
 
The No.21 ranked doubles team Eva Schwartz and Avery Durham would win at No.1 doubles against Petra Csizmadia and Arianna De Bernado 6-2.
 
At No.1 singles, the No. 23 ranked singles player Letizia Corsini defeated Petra Csizmadia 6-1, 6-0 to move to 12-0 in singles play and get the first point of the singles portion to give the Rambelles a 2-0 lead.
 
Eva Schwartz would get back on track, defeating Arianna De Bernardo 6-2, 6-0, to give the Rambelles a 3-0 lead.
 
Ayda Guler would clinch the match for the Blue and Gold as she would defeat Antonietta Boachace 6-1, 6-2 to clinch the fourth point and the victory.
 
Alexandra Vishnevskaya defeated Isabella Serrano 6-3, 6-2 to make it 5-0 in favor of the Belles. She moved to 2-0 in singles play this season.
 
Jessica Li would get back on track and get the best Camila Romero 6-2, 6-1 to make it 6-0. 
 
Ivet Stancheva would secure the 7-0 sweep for the Rambelles as she would defeat Taylor Conway 6-3, 6-3.
 
The Rambelles get back on the road as they take on No.5 Midwestern State on Mar. 29, with the first serve scheduled for 12:00 p.m. They will also take on No. 19 Lubbock Christian on Saturday, Mar. 30th  at 12:00 p.m.
