SAN ANGELO – The Angelo State men's basketball dropped their second successive game inside the Junell Center – Stephens Arena this afternoon, falling to Eastern New Mexico 80-70 on Saturday afternoon.
The Rams struggled shooting the ball, only shooting 35.4 percent from the field and 25.8 percent from three.
The visitors used their size advantage to out-score the Rams 48-28 in the paint.
Four Rams scored in double figures, led by 
Sterling Gaston-Chapman's 17 points on 6-for-14 shooting. He grabbed six rebounds while blocking a shot and grabbing a steal.
Carvell Teasett scored 14 points, making four of the Rams' eight three-pointers.
Shemar Smith added 12 points and grabbed six rebounds and a pair of steals.
Denim Dawson had ten points and grabbed a team-high seven rebounds; he assisted three times and grabbed a pair of steals. Dawson went 8-for-10 from the free-throw line and had four offensive rebounds.
Kaden Evans had seven points and led the Rams with three steals. 
Kendrick Delahoussaye led the team with four assists.
The Rams are now 9-6 on the season and 5-4 in LSC play. They close out their longest homestand of the season next week when they host Midwestern State and Lubbock Christian.
