LAST TIME OUT:
ASU bounced back in games three and four to earn the four-game series against UT Tyler last weekend which kept the Rams atop the LSC conference, tied with the Patriots and St. Mary's entering this weekend.

SCOUTING SUL ROSS STATE:

SRSU clinched the program's first DII victory against St. Mary's 6-2 in the back half of the Saturday doubleheader back on Saturday, Feb. 1.

At the plate, the Lobos are led by outfielder Aaron Morales. The junior from El Paso, Texas has played in all eight games for Sul Ross and leads them in every offensive category except RBIs where he is second. As a team, SRSU sits in 12th in the conference in hitting and remains in the bottom half in numerous other categories.

On the mound, the Lobos rank last in team ERA (14.44) as the staff has given up 10+ runs in six of the eight games played thus far. Gage Cobb spotlights the staff as the team's Friday night starter. The junior from Lubbock has a team-best 6.52 ERA and 10 strikeouts.
