SAN ANGELO, TEXAS - The Angelo State women's tennis team continued their momentum as they defeated Collin County, 6-1 Sunday afternoon at the ASU Tennis Courts.
 
The Belles improve to 2-0 with the victory.
 
The freshman pairing of Benedetta Raggiotti and Margaux Rene won on court two 6-1. The new pairing of Jessica Li and Mary-June Quinn won No.3 doubles, 6-3, to give the Rambelles the double point. The No.3 ranked paring in the nation, Avery Durham and Eva Schwartz, defeated the No.1 pairing of Collin County 6-2
 
All three pairings move to 2-0 in doubles play.
 
Jessica Li would get the Rambelles on the board in singles play, defeating Jinsol Yang 6-0, 6-2.
 
Eva Schwartz at No.1 Singles gave the Belles a 3-0 lead after defeating Camila Luzardo 6-4, 6-1.
Ivet Stancheva clinched the match for the Rambelles after defeating Alyssa Glasgow, 6-2,6-1.
 
Margaux Rene starts her collegiate career 2-0, claiming the fifth point for the Rambelles after defeating Nana Kusumoto 6-4, 7-5.
 
Benedetta Raggiotti would fall to Marqaylar Tere 4-6, 6-2, 3-10 giving Collin County their only point of the contest.
 
In a hard-fought battle on court six Elise Gillis would end up getting the best of Marie Alix Urcun 7-6, 7-6(8-6) to give the Rambelles a 6-1 victory.
