Jenelle Cunningham

In order to give his players the best possible coaching, head soccer coach Travis McCorkle looked outside of the United States and brought in someone with international soccer experience.

Hailing from Trinidad and Tobago, new ASU soccer graduate assistant Jenelle Cunningham brings a vast amount of knowledge to a program that has already proven itself as a winner.

Cunningham earned her bachelor degree in business administration from Murray State in 2013, adding minor in English as well. While in school, she also played for the Racers soccer team, acting as a team captain from 2011-2013 seasons.

Most recently, Cunningham worked for the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs in her home country of Trinidad and Tobago, helping to encourage sport and organizational development throughout the country.

Cunningham has also continued to represent her home country on the pitch, serving as a defender on the Trinidad and Tobago Women’s National Team in international matches. Inclusion on this team has allowed her to compete against some of the top players in the world.Â
