Celeste Bonter and Chelsea Gibson each added six kills each, while Debbie Ohl and Shelby Wilt added five digs each.  Wilt and Woolsey both had two aces for the Belles.

“Alex distributed the ball very well,” Huth said. “She knew where to put the ball and who was hitting it well. Our passing and setting was really solid.”

On the Angelo State Belles' 3-0 win over Midwestern State on Thursday:
It shows that we are focused and ready for the challenges that are coming our way. We knew that Midwestern was going to come out and try to get at us, but we didn't let that happen. We did a good job of getting off to a good start and played really well the entire match.

On playing Abilene Christian on Friday:
They are a great team, but we just have to play our game and not worry about anything else. We are going to have to minimize our errors and play with the same intensity we did today.
