SAN ANGELO – The Angelo State women's volleyball team swept Midwestern State 3-0 (25-13, 25-18, 25-19) in their final home match of the season to move to 21-7 (14-4 Lone Star Conference) on the season.
The Belles dominated from the outset, hitting .366 for the match with only eight errors while holding MSU to an .069 hitting percentage and forcing them into 21 errors.
Baleigh Allen led the Belles offensively with 12 kills on 14 attacks with no errors for an .857 hitting percentage, setting a program record in the process. She added seven blocks on the afternoon. Senior Audrey Fragnierre, playing in her final home match, added 10 kills.
Defensively, libero Chloe Robinson had 12 digs and Sundara Chinn added 11. Chinn also had four blocks on the afternoon.
Setter Meghan Parker enjoyed another excellent match with 34 assists and seven digs. She added three service aces, adding to her conference leading total.
The Belles will next be in action on the road as they will finish out the regular season at UT Permian Basin and Western New Mexico.
