SAN ANGELO, Texas – The top-ranked Angelo State baseball team repeated last night's performance, finishing Texas A&M International in eight innings as the Rams won 13-2 in game two of the series on Saturday night at Foster Field at 1
st Community Credit Union Field.
The Rams improve to 13-2 overall and 9-2 in the Lone Star Conference while the Dustdevils move to 6-14 with one game remaining in the series.
Much like game one of the series, Saturday's game started slowly with neither team able to find offense early. The Rams tallied the first run of the day in the bottom of the third inning as

Angelo State added on to the lead in the fourth inning as
Parker Bramlett singled up the middle, bringing around
Nick Seginowich before the Rams earned two more runs off a throwing error by the Dustdevils' second baseman to go up 4-0.
TAMIU found some life in the top of the fifth inning, hitting back-to-back hits beginning with a single before a home run to left field made it 4-2 in favor of ASU.
Jake Rogers started on the mound for the first time this season for the Rams, throwing five innings of work with two hits and two runs while striking out five batters to pick up his first win.
Aaron Munson tossed two innings of relief while allowing only one hit while
Jake Jansa and
Carson Childers combined for the final three outs.
The Rams extended their lead once again in the bottom of the fifth as Bramlett hit a three-run blast to left field, tallying his first career home run in the Blue & Gold.
With a 7-2 lead, Angelo State finished the game in the eighth inning as Kelton brought in the first run with an RBI single, followed by a sacrifice fly from
Reese Johnson and another single by
Jordan Williams. Seginowich ended things early, hitting ASU's second home run of the game, a three-run shot over the left-field wall to close out the night.
Bramlett and Kelton each tallied with three hits in the game while Bramlett collected four RBIs and Seginowich finished with three RBIs and three runs scored.
The Rams and Dustdevils will finish up the series at Foster Field tomorrow afternoon with the first pitch set for 1 p.m.
