NEED TO KNOW
- The Rambelles earned their first two conference wins of the season last week after defeating Texas A&M-Kingsville 72-61 and Texas A&M-International 71-52.
- Sawyer Lloyd leads the team in scoring, averaging 15.7 points per game, the fourth best mark in the Lone Star. Lloyd also ranks fourth, averaging 2.6 steals and 4.4 assists per contest. Her 2.2 assist-turnover ratio is the top mark in the conference.
- Tayjanna McGhee-Pleasant (7th), Payton Brown (12th) and Madeline Stephens (14th) also rank top 15 in points per game in the LSC, averaging 15, 14.3, and 13.7 respectively.
- Stephens also ranks sixth in the conference in rebounding, averaging a team best eight boards per game and is third in field goal percentage (.541).
- Stephens and Lloyd were named the Lone Star Conference offensive and defensive players of the week following their efforts in the wins over TAMUK, TAMIU.
- The Rambelles are averaging 72.1 points per game, shooting 42.3 percent from the field and 70.8 percent from the free throw line.
- The 72.1 points currently ranks as the fourth best mark in the LSC, while the Rambelles hold opponents to 65.3 points a game (12th in the LSC).
- The Rambelles love to clean up the offensive glass, averaging the second most offensive rebounds per game in the conference with 14.7.
- Brown tops the LSC as she averages 36.3 minutes per game.
- McGhee-Pleasant scored 21 points and pulled in eight rebounds as she was named the Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Week in the third week of the season.
- Brown had a 13-point, six rebound, and three steal game that saw her honored as the Lone Star Conference Defensive Player of the Week after the Rambelles upset win over Eckerd College in week three.
- Lloyd averaged 22 points and eight rebounds as she was named the Lone Star Conference offensive player of the week in week one.
- The Rambelles are off to their best start to the season (6-1) since the 2018-19 campaign where the team also held a 6-1 record after seven games.

- The Rambelles hold a 2-0 all-time record over UAFS. The Blue and Gold defeated the Lions in Fort Smith last season behind 21 points from Stephens.
- The Lions enter the contest with the Rambelles with a 2-6 overall record after starting LSC play 0-2.
- The Lions fell to West Texas A&M 79-69 on Thursday before dropping their second straight game 76-49 to Lubbock Christian.
- Aaliyah Prince leads the way for the Lions offensively, scoring 15.3 points per game while grabbing a team high 5.5 boards.
- Riley Hayes also averages double figures for UAFS as she contributes 10.9 points per game.
ANGELO STATE vs OKLAHOMA CHRISTIAN
- Angelo State holds the all-time series advantage over the Eagles 4-2, the Rambelles won the only contest last season.
- The Eagles have two games before facing the Rambelles on Saturday as they matchup with Oklahoma Baptist University on Tuesday and UT Permian Basin on Thursday.
- The Eagles enter the week winless, 0-5, on the season. Last week they dropped their opening slate of LSC games to West Texas A&M, 66-51, and Lubbock Christian, 88-61.
- Brooklin Bain is the only Eagle who currently averages double-digit points, scoring 14.4 per contest.
- Olivia Travis is the teams leading rebounder as she pulls down 7.2 a game to go along with 5.6 points.
