Odessa, Texas – The Angelo State volleyball team won their fourth match in a row on Saturday afternoon in Odessa, defeating UT Permian Basin in three sets inside the Falcon Dome.
The Rambelles hit .374 for the match and held the Falcons to a .117 attack percentage. The Belles also doubled up the Falcons in kills (47-21), assists (46-20), and digs (34-17).
The win is the Rambelles' second sweep in LSC play and their second sweep of the Falcons this season.
Madi Parrish and
Hannah Kinnison paced the Belles' attack with 11 kills apiece. They both only committed one error on 18 attempts to record identical hitting percentages of .556.
Evelyn Torres had seven kills while
Hannah Spencer had five; seniors
Elsa Lamphere and
Marina Sanchez added four kills each, with the duo each turning in a .333 hitting percentage.
Laney Dale assisted a game-high 19 times and had a trio of service aces, while
Alli Kirkpatrick had 13 assists off the bench.
Libero
Caleigh Enax led all players with eight digs.
The Belles improve to 12-2 on the season and 2-0 in conference play. They are back on the court on Wednesday evening inside the Junell Center – Stephens Arena for an LSC matchup against Texas Woman's.
