Wichita Falls, Texas – The Angelo State volleyball team picked up their fourth conference win in as many matches on Saturday afternoon inside D.L. Ligon Coliseum, sweeping Midwestern State 3-0 behind strong performances behind seniors
Hannah Kinnison and
Laney Dale, as well as junior libero
Caleigh Enax.
The Rambelles hit .291 for the match while holding the hosts to a .110 hitting percentage.
The Belles took sets one and three by a score of 25-20, which sandwiched a set two win where they took the set 25-14.
Kinnison was unstoppable offensively, burying 19 kills and only committing one error for a .581 hitting percentage. She was the only player from either squad to record double digits in kills.
Middles
Cate Boldrick and
Hannah Spencer had five kills each, while
Elsa Lamphere,
Evelyn Torres, and
Madi Parrish contributed four kills.
Dale recorded her seventh double-double of the season with 22 assists and ten digs; Enax led all players with 16 digs.
The Belles improve to 14-2 overall on the season and 4-0 in conference play. They return home next weekend to take on the defending national champions, No. 5 West Texas A&M, on Friday night before taking on Cameron on Saturday afternoon.
