Portales, N.M. – The Angelo State volleyball team ended their month-long road trip on a high note as they claimed a four-set victory over Eastern New Mexico on Saturday afternoon inside the Steve Loy Family Foundation Arena.
The Rambelles dropped set one 25-23 before rebounding to take the following three sets: 25-22, 25-15, and 25-13.
The Belles' offense struggled in set one, hitting -.091, committing 12 errors, and only converting eight kills. However, their offense got back on track in sets three and four, hitting .333 and .273, respectively.
Defensively, the Belles held the hosts to a .047 attack percentage. The Belles had seven blocks in the match and out-dug the Greyhounds 71-62.
Madi Parrish led all players with 17 kills and two service aces.
Evelyn Torres had 15 kills and recorded 20 digs.
Kaila Garnett joined her teammates in double digits for kills with ten. In three sets of play off the bench, she hit .353 and had a pair of blocks.
Adeline Ortman out-assisted the Greyhounds with 47 assists to ENMU's 32. The setter also had eight digs.

Caleigh Enax tied Torres with a match-high 20 digs.
The Belles improve to 13-2 on the season and 3-1 in conference play. They are back home inside the Junell Center – Stephens Arena next weekend to host Texas A&M International and Texas A&M-Kingsville.
