- The Rambelles return five members from last year's squad and added five freshmen and four transfers to the fold.
- Landy Morrow and Madeline Stephens are the only returning starters from last year's team.
- Stephens was named to the LSC Preseason Players to Watch list after her All-LSC Second Team Selection last season where she averaged 13.3 points and 7.7 rebounds.
- A familiar face to the Rambelles, Lauren Catherman transfers in from St. Edward's. During her time as a Hilltoppers's, she accumulated 209 steals, placing her third in program history and sixth in the conference, averaging 1.1 steals a contest.
- Keniah Williams is one of the five returners and is looking to have a bigger role this year after being named the starting center for the Rambelles. Last year she led the conference in blocks with 56.
- ASU was picked to finish sixth in the LSC preseason poll. Texas Woman's, Lubbock Christian, UT Tyler, UT Permian Basin, and West Texas A&M rounded out the top five.Â

- ASU leads the all-time series 1-0, winning the last matchup 71-61 on March. 10th, 2016.
- The Orediggers are 10th in the RMAC standings with a 3-8 overall record and 1-3 in conference.
