Rambelles Host Second Round of South Central Regional

SAN ANGELO, TEXAS - The Angelo State women's soccer team will take on the winner of DBU or MSU Denver in the Second Round of the NCAA Division II Women's Soccer National Championship at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 24th, at the Legrand Soccer Complex.
 
The Belles are 13-1-5 heading into Sunday's Second Round match up. The Rambelles were able to host the first and second rounds of the NCAA Division II Women's Soccer National Championship after defeating DBU, 2-1, in the Lone Star Conference Tournament Championship match in double overtime, earning an automatic bid to the South Central Regional.

  • Taylor Tufts was named the Player of the Year in the LSC after recording nine goals and six assists.

  • MSU Denver leads the overall series 2-1-1 over the Rambelles with the last matchup being on Sep. 19, 2024, with a 0-0 draw.
  •  MSU Denver beat Westminster 2-1 in the quarterfinals of the RMAC Tournament, then fell to Fort Lewis on PK's 5-4 
  • Tessa Killmon, Madrid Mack, and Monica Yoder are tied for the team lead in goals with three. 
  • Kylie Bach leads the RMAC in shutouts with 11, the Roadrunner's defense ranks 21st in the nation allowing 11 goals to this point in the season.
