SAN ANGELO, Texas – The Angelo State track & field teams wrapped up the combined events of the David Noble Relays on Friday evening at LeGrand Stadium at 1
st Community Credit Union Field.
The seventh-ranked Rambelles collected three of the top five finishers in the heptathlon with
Maricia Spence winning the events with 5,791 points, four points shy of setting a new conference record. Spence jumped 6.22m (20-5) to win the long jump which also ranks as the second farthest jump in Division II this season.
Finishing fourth overall was
Anna Riccomagno who collected 5,212 points while
Allison Vaughn took fifth with 4,890 points and
Kylie Frush earned sixth with 4,666 points.
On the men's side,
Mark Burdin finished third overall in the decathlon, scoring 6,873 points.
The main portion of the David Noble Relays begin tomorrow as the field events start at 11 a.m., while the prelims of the running events begin at 12:30.
