Curry Dawson is entering as a two-sport athlete for his accomplishments from 1998-2001 in both track and field and football. He was a two-time Academic All-American and a five-time All-Lone Star Conference selection in the sports. Dawson won three NCAA Division II national championships with discus titles in 2000 and 2001 and a shot put title in 2001. He still holds the top nine marks in ASU discus history. In 2009, he was inducted into the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Division II Hall of Fame.
