Arkadelphia, Ark. – The Angelo State women's tennis team established their first winning streak of the spring today, defeating Henderson State 6-1 as all five of the Belles' singles wins came in straight sets.
In doubles play, the combination of
Eva Schwartz and
Mieke Van Deventer made quick work of Henderson State's Danna Nunez and Vinda Teally, winning 6-0.
Ramitha Irrinki and
Ayda Guler quickly followed with a 6-4 win to claim the doubles' point.
The Belles' Ovcina,
Eva Schwartz, Irrinki and Van Deventer would all claim singles points in quick succession to help secure victory for the Belles.
The Belles are 2-1 and will finish out their weekend tomorrow morning against Delta State.
