Pensacola, Fla. – The Angelo State women's tennis team dropped their match against #13 West Alabama this afternoon, falling 7-0 to the Tigers.
The lone bright spot for the Belles was the doubles pairing of
Valentina Gonzalez and
Ena Ovcina, who claimed a win at line one over the nation's ninth-ranked doubles pairing.
Ramitha Irrinki was the sole Belle on the singles side to not fall in straight sets.
The Belles are now 8-3 on the season and close their spring break road trip out tomorrow afternoon against West Florida.
