MCKINNEY, TEXAS– The Angelo State women's tennis team beat Delta State 6-1 on the road Saturday in McKinney, Texas.
 
The Belles clinched the doubles point with a line one win by Ayda Guler and Ramitha Irrinki as well as a win at line two by Esther Bowers and Eva Schwartz. Dianela Rodriguez and Letizia Corsini won 6-0 at line three.

In singles, Letizia Corsini took line one today by a score of 6-1, 6-0. Ayda Guler pulled the win on line three with a score of 6-2, 6-3. Belles also won in position four thanks to Ramitha Irrinki winning 6-4, 6-4. Esther Bowers and Mieke Van Deventer swept their lines 6-0.

The Belles are back on the road next Friday to play at Northeastern State at 11 a.m.
