TAHLEQUAH, OKLA.– The Angelo State women's tennis team defeated Northeastern State on the road Friday morning.
The Belles scored the doubles point with a line one win by
Ayda Guler and
Ramitha Irrinki 6-3 and a 6-4 win on line three by Dianela Rodriguez and Letizia Corsini.
In singles,
Letizia Corsini won her match on line two in a 6-3,1-6, 6-4 tiebreaker.
Eva Schwartz was able to grab a point for the Belles with a line four 6-2, 6-1 win. A line six win by
Ramitha Irrinki with a 7-5, 7-5 score clinched the match for the Belles.
The Belles are back in action tomorrow in Lawton, Okla. to play Southern Arkansas at 2 p.m.
