No. 20 Rambelles take on Ouachita Baptist and Texas A&M- Kingsville at home

SAN ANGELO, Texas – The Angelo State women's tennis team gears up for two home matches this weekend, facing Ouachita Baptist on Friday at 2 p.m., before opening Lone Star Conference play Sunday at noon against Texas A&M- Kingsville at the ASU Tennis Complex.

With the Tigers coming to Angelo State, this will be the fifth match-up in program history. The Belles have secured a four-match win streak against OBU with three of those matches played in Arkansas and one at a neutral site.

The Tigers are currently 2-5 to start their season with a five-match losing streak, including the last three at home. OCU's only wins of the season came against Hendrix and Ozarks, winning both matches 9-0.

The Belles have won four out of six matches against the Javelinas. The last four matches were claimed by the Belles as they look to continue that streak on Sunday. The Javelinas enter the weekend with a 2-2 record and will face UT Permian Basin on Friday to open their LSC schedule.

The Belles are 6-1 on the year with the doubles team of Esther Bowers and Eva Schwartz undefeated at 6-0 while Ramitha Irrinki is undefeated in singles at 6-0 as well. Letizia Corsini holds a 5-2 singles record along with Eva Schwartz while Ayda Guler and Irrinki are 5-2 as a pair.
