The Belles won the doubles point, giving them a 1-0 lead. The pair of
Ayda Guler and
Ramitha Irrinki won the doubles line one 6-4.
Eva Schwartz and
Mieke Van Deventer won line two 5-4 and
Letizia Corsini and
Dianela Rodriguez won 6-1 in line three.

Rodriguez won line one 6-0, 6-3, while
Letizia Corsini won line two 7-5, 6-2.
Eva Schwartz took the line three victory with a 6-2, 6-3 score.
Christine Jevicky had a quick match winning line four 6-1, 6-1.
Ramitha Irrinki battled it out in line five and won 6-2, 1-6, 6-1.
Mieke Van Deventer won line six in three sets with a score of 6-0, 4-6, 6-1.
