San Angelo, Texas - The No. 13 Rambelles sweep UT Permian Basin 7-0, extending their home win streak to 17 matches lasting over two seasons.
 
With the victory, the Rambelles move to 17-2 overall and 7-1 in conference action. The Falcons fall to 8-14 overall and 3-5 in conference play.
 
The pairing of Ayda Guler and Letizia Corsini got things going for the Rambelles as they won the first doubles match on court two, 6-2, over the paring of Tuva Asplund and Lisa Guitton and moving their doubles record to 16-2.
 
The No. 19th doubles pairing Avery Durham and Eva Schwartz would continue their strong form as they would win 6-4 at No.1 doubles to clinch the doubles point for the Blue and Gold.
 
Mieke Van Deventer and Alexandra Vishnevskaya would remain dominant at No.3 doubles as they would win 6-3, improving their doubles to 10-1 overall.
 
Ayda Guler would get things started in singles play for the Rambelles as she would give the Rambelles a 2-0 advantage after defeating Mattea Bowe 6-1, 6-0.
 
The super freshman Jessica Li would continue her fantastic run at No. 3 singles as she would win straight sets over Lisa Guitton 6-0, 6-0 to give the Rambelles a 3-0 advantage.
 
 The No. 8 singles player Letizia Corsini would clinch the match for the Rambelles, defeating Brooke Runyan 6-2, 6-2 to move to 17-0 overall and give the Rambelles a 2-0 lead.
 
Alexandra Vishnevskaya would continue her run at No. 6 singles, beating Tuva Asplund 6-1, 6-2 to give the Rambelles a 5-0 advantage.
 
Christine Jevicky would extend her unbeaten streak to 13 matches as she defeated Paige Bott in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2 to give the Rambelles a 6-0 lead.
 
Eva Schwartz the No. 59th ranked singles player, would clinch the sweep for the Blue and Gold as she would get the best of Teodora Vrucan 6-2, 2-6, 10-5 to extend the win streak vs. UT Permian Basin to eight straight matches.
 
The No. 13 Rambelles hit the road for the final two matches of the regular season as they face UT Tyler on Apr. 19th with first serve scheduled for noon, then will play DBU on Saturday, Apr.20th also scheduled to start at noon.
